Anything and everything you experience, in whatever the venue or circumstance, including within your marriage, always, always, always happens as a result of what you think, say, or do. Cause and effect in marriage is as real as it is in “real life,” but most married people do not think about it or how to work with it.
Every couple who has come to see me in regards to infidelity was able to rescue and resuscitate their marriage.
In fact, they went on to have amazing marriages, because once they learned how to be married, the normal, evil actions of that infidelity were understood and put into a context of non-judgment.
Marriage is God’s invention. Although God’s laws are “defined” through religion, His love is the universal component in all religions and the most important reality. While one religion may suggest the worship of God on your knees and another religion has you standing up while you pray, both religions are praying to the same God.
Isn’t it amazing that most of us will never really use much math in our daily life, yet schools pump it into our heads as if our life depended on it? On the other hand, we don’t know diddly about relationships, happy marriages, or the other gender, and we’re handed a diploma at graduation as if we are now prepared for life — it’s ridiculous!
